Social Companion Robot (SCR) is a type of robotic system designed to interact with humans, offering companionship, assistance, and support through engaging, often personalized interactions.

At Affectify AI, we are augmenting SCR with Emotional Intelligence (IQ + EQ). Embodied in any space, an affectified SCR robot can communicate with smart home automation and other assisted/wearable technologies and hence provide an unparallel assistance at the personal level. Simply, think of a digital pet that provides companionship and emotional support and also helps in control of your environment. With a human-centered AI design at its core, the system is not to replace human-level interactions but to alleviate some of the isolation challenges our aging population is facing. Our user-centered context-aware ML algorithms monitors and learns individual's behaviors and preferences to personalize the robot interactions to meet the individual's physical and mental needs.
